I Ching's Structure
The I Ching's formal structure is a language of lines, trigrams and hexagrams that combine precisely and mathematically to reveal the process of Change to those who study it. Nothing changes, there is only Change.
How can a single point represent unity? How can firm and malleable lines tell us about the combination of Yin and Yang forces that create life? How can we decipher this language and receive revelations about life and "fate"? How do these revelations restore our wisdom and transform peoples' lives?
Points and lines form the essential base of any written language. Lines are formed from the starting point. From these lines we form letters. From letters we form sentences and texts.
In a similar way, the I Ching's formal structure represents the code of Changes. Learn here the first steps towards understanding this language.
